Blog Entry #3: Can you guess it?

 You just need to imagine. Now for some people that's harder for than others, but just try. Im holding something, you're holding something too. It's almost like a metal tin, feels cold on the hands. when you shake the tin you can hear it rattle. It's as if there are a bunch of small objects being shaken in this tin. When we open it we have to kind of pop it open. Take one of the small objects and place it into your mouth. It's got a taste to it but not sure what that taste is, its not sweet and its not sour. It's cooling and almost burns under your tongue. The small objet slowly becomes smaller and smaller the longer it's in your mouth, eventually disintegrating into nothing but fresh breath. What is it?

    I really enjoyed reading your blog! It kept me interested the whole time. I was able to picture the whole thing and you gave really good details. You did a good job using sensory details to explain what the process of a mint is like.

    Hi Alyssa, I also liked the detail you provided to explain your peppermint. I was able to imagine the tin of the altoids mints. Did I guess right?

Some people even make money from this app when they post their content.       Although the app has a lot of younger adults using it, there are plenty older and middle aged adults on the app as well. Some may think this app is very useless but I think it depends on how you use it. You can use it to find fun recipes and dinner ideas, even Amazon finds. Then there's some people who just lay in bed endlessly scrolling, that might know be very beneficial...      TikTok isn't a bad thing unless you make it a bad thing!

Blog entry #7: Fresh

 After watching Fresh it made me think of the types of foods I eat and how they are made. I think the purpose of this film is to make people aware of the food they're buying and the thing the farmers may go through. The audience I believe is towards all food buying customers in the United States. The tone is kind of modern, not everyone is being serious in the film they are just living their everyday life. I was surprised that they gave away worms, I would think you'd want some of them or would want to at least make a profit on them. This film kind of grossed me out because I'm not a fan of the whole process of actually getting the foods and the way they get the meat. I think this film is educating and everyone who buys these products should be educated on them. This film defiantly matters, It gives the perspective of the farmers them selfs which seems like the best people to get information from. It's probably simpler as Americans to not know the issues of what we eat

Blog Entry #6: Social media! More like Bad idea

 Social Media is such a big thing in today's world. Almost all of the celebs have it, it's what keeps people looking at them. Although celebrities have social media, so do your ordinary people. From young teens the middle aged Facebook moms    The thing about social media is that it makes you vulnerable. You are showing all of these people what your life is like, where you go, and even what your home may look like. Many people who have social media, Instagram for an example lets you follow people who may be mutuals with your friends. Even though your friends  may know that person, you don't. So many people follow others who they don't actually know.  This can result in stalking, even bullying.  Would we be happier without it???
